CompareA family of separately bought hospitality products (The Access Group)

Hangar vs Access Hospitality

Access Hospitality sells "one platform", but it's a family of products bought one at a time: DesignMyNight and Collins, ResDiary, Acteol, Rotaready, Procure Wizard, Wireless Social, QikServe and more. By our count, a venue needs six to eight of them to cover what Hangar covers, each with its own price, its own login and its own guest list. Access's own till lists the others as "integrations". The default contract is 36 months, renewing for 12 months unless you give 90 days' notice. Hangar is one product on one database, on one monthly subscription with no term.

Access Hospitality
Hangar
How many products
Access HospitalityThey need 6 to 8 separate products to match ten modules: EPoS Evo, Collins or ResDiary, Acteol, Rotaready, Procure Wizard, Wireless Social, Tonic and QikServe
HangarWe are one product with ten modules
How they connect
Access HospitalityThey list their own products as integrations on the EPoS page: Acteol, Rotaready, Procure Wizard, Collins, ResDiary, QikServe
HangarWe have nothing to connect. Every module reads and writes the same record
Price
Access HospitalityThey charge per product: EPoS Evo £316, Collins £149 and Acteol SE £165 a site a month (£630 together), plus Procure Wizard from £900 a month. Rota, wifi and order and pay are quote only
HangarWe charge a simple monthly subscription: one price for the platform, with CRM and Payments, plus each module you add
Minimum term
Access HospitalityThey start at "36 months from the Start Date", renew "automatically" for 12 months, and need "at least 90 days' notice"
HangarWe have no minimum term. Leave any month with no exit fee
Price rises

HangarWe have no term, so you're never stuck with a price you didn't agree to. Leave any month
Guest record
Access HospitalityThey sell CRM as a separate product, and Acteol SE caps the single customer view at 100,000 contacts
HangarWe keep one record per guest across every module, venue and brand, with no contact cap
Loyalty
Access HospitalityThey leave it out of Acteol SE: loyalty, feedback and sales leads are "not available"
HangarWe include loyalty in the Loyalty and gift cards module, on the same guest record
Exports
Access HospitalityThey charged data export from the EPoS by the consultant day, in their 2019 services catalogue
HangarWe let you export everything yourself, any time

HangarKeep your own card provider and connect it at no extra cost
